Hot Fuzz

I just wanted to quickly send out a message saying that Hot Fuzz is a great movie. You may not like it or fully appreciate it at first, but it'll grow on you after you leave the theatre and you'll certainly enjoy your time in the theatre. It's from the same guys that did Shaun of the Dead (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, director Edgar Wright). Instead of a zombie comedy, this time they're doing an action comedy with some thriller-aspects to it. Just to warn you it seems to start off a little slow, but definately picks up and each part of the movie has its own mood. When it seems slow there is subtle humour, when it's mysterious there is more direct humour, and when there's action there is more physical humour. All in all, if I still had Netflix I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. However, on further viewings that might be up'd to 5. What is especially fantastic is the movies they give homage to.
